【摘要】:ThistestmethodisusefulincalibratingthetemperaturesignalofadifferentialscanningcalorimeterforcoolingexperimentssuchasthedeterminationofcrystallizationtemperaturesinTestMethodD3418andTestMethodE794.Thistestmethodmaybeusedforresearch,development,analytical,specificationacceptance,qualityassuranceandcontrolpurposes.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthetemperaturecalibrationofdifferentialscanningcalorimetersoncoolingusingthedifferencebetweentransitiontemperaturesuponheatingandcoolinginthetemperaturerangeof50to185176;C.Anoffsetintheindicatedtemperaturebetweenheatingandcoolingexperiments,withinthistemperaturerange,maybeusedtoprovidetemperaturecalibrationoncoolingatothertemperatureranges.1.2SIunitsarethestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection6.
